Coffee News - A Winnipeg Tradition

Monday, May 25, 2009
A vital part of Winnipeg's advertising mix, Coffee News wanted their "little brown paper" to have a "not-so-little brown website". Their website that packs a lot into every page - from a You-Tube video to coupon pages, contests and GoogleMaps(tm) highlighting all their Winnipeg locations.

Coffee News also has free postings of local events on their site - and the Recipe Page gets a lot of attention. Don't miss the Wealthy Attitude Blog, found on the bottom of the home page, the Coffee News Ringtone, and if you're a fan, make sure you join their Facebook Fan Page -"the" place where Coffee News lovers come together.

Coffee News delivers great value to their advertisers - and to their readers. Business owners can reach thousands of regular readers with a very affordable ad. Look for it - Read it - Advertise in it - it's the "little brown paper" (and the "not so brown" website) read by over 90,000 people each week!

Come Fly With Us!

The Western Aerospace Alliance is a collaborative business coalition representing some 450 companies across the four western Canadian provinces, working in all aspects of the aeronautics industry. The Alliance needed a site that presented and promoted this growing industry to the world, so we put a first class flash animation video on the home page to tell the tale.

The site provides links to each province's association, and an Events and News section, because there are always new developments and industry related events of note.

The Aesospace industry employs over 15,000 people in a wide range of aerospace endeavours, from aircraft manufacturing to developing space systems. We built a compact site for this expanding industry that contributes so much to Western Canada's economic success.

Keeping the Wheels Turning

As a member-based, non-profit organization, the Centre for Sustainable Transportation has to deliver a truckload of information - with a focus on putting the most current and most important information front and centre.

By integrating custom programming like a members portal, having dynamic content areas such as their blog and news and events section, and the ability to present more historical information, publications and research projects - there is a real sense of ""destination local" for everything you need - organized and in one place.

A wealth of information, clearly presented, attractively packaged.

Stay at the Viscount Gort

Monday, May 4, 2009
We'll stay away from comments about accommodations fit for a king, or treating their guests like royalty - but there really is a "Viscount Gort" in Irish and British Peerage but he didn't open a hotel in Winnipeg. ( a little local trivia for you)

The Viscount Gort's new website shows you all the reasons why it is a great place to stay if you are visiting Winnipeg, or looking for a place to host an event - from a wedding to a business conference. It is easy to find even for "out of towners" (Portage Ave across from Polo Park Shopping Centre) and has ample parking - always a bonus. It has all the amenities, including an indoor waterslide and pool, great food, and a sports bar to unwind in after a long day of shopping, or meetings. Their Business Resource Centre adds value for the business traveller.

Affordable, centrally located, with all the comforts you need - make your reservations!
