We are pleased to announce that Dan Belhassen, President of Modern Earth has been selected to participate in the Canadian delegation to represent our business community at the World IT Congress in Amsterdam at the end of May.
Dan will have the opportunity to meet a great cross section of international companies and explore potential opportunities for Canadian businesses - his networking skills make him a great choice as a delegate, as he loves to connect companies who have a need with companies that can provide a product or service that will fill those needs.
The roster of speakers filling sessions across ten topic tracks
is a cross section of who's who in the global IT world, including over 240 keynotes and plenary sessions from executives from IBM
, Xerox Ferrari,
and many other companies and government agencies. Other companies attending are Microsoft, Oracle, Motorola
, Oracle, Motorola, and Dom Sagolla
, the co-creator of Twitter
He may even get to meet the Prince of Orange. The Earthlings hope Dan has a great trip and enjoys himself. We also think that they should rename the host city AmsterDan in his honor, but the Dutch may not agree until after they meet him.
He will be blogging and tweeting his experiences, so please follow him on Twitter @danbelhassen and read his blog when his new site
launches later this month.
Congratulations on the honor of being chosen for this delegation, Dan. We're very proud of you and we know you will make the most of this great opportunity. Bring us back some tulip bulbs!
